The Death Penalty
I am totally against the death penalty because to me there's no point. To me it does not make any sense at all to spend money to have people sentenced to death when they could just spend life in prison, no case is that serious even if the person killed someone they shouldnt be killed they should just be sentenced to life in prison. It's not our place or anyone elses to judge weather someone dies or not.

If it has been talked about and is all over the news. it also depends on who the story is about for example a celebrity over a regular person, the celebrity story would be more "important".

"No students, No service!"
Recent rule bans MBA students from going to Cody’s.
Just last Thursday the principal of MBA banned students from leaving durring school hours to go to Cody's which is directly down the street from the school.

Band On Out Of School Lunches Cause Controversy: Local high school Principal bands out of school lunches
Metro Students are upset about their Principal, Mrs. Puglisi's new threat to suspend any student who is caught going off school grounds to get lunch since there has been a large number of students who do leave school to get somthing to eat.
Last night the School Board made a unanimous decision in agreeance with Mrs. Puglisi's idea to threaten students with suspension. Students don't understand why they should be penalized for their use of another source of food. They figure that if the school makes better lunches then that would lessen the amount of students that go out to eat.

5 things that make me mad
1. Phony People!!!!!
2. Ignorance!!!!
3. People who take advantage of others!!!
4. Loose Women!!
5. Teachers who can't teach!
Phony People are hated by everyone except for others who are just as phony. Take a look at the book "The Catcher in the Rye" main character, Holden Caulfield, who criticizes and philosophizes phony people. He looks at them as those who are too conventional or too typical. He uses the term "phony" to imply that such people are superficial, his use of the term actually indicates that his own perceptions of other people are superficial.
Phoniness is most popular in high schools, to me and others it seems as if being phony is the new thing, it’s almost like a pair of new cute shoes almost everyone wants. Being phony has no benefits. A phony person always gets stuck out in the end. for example on "Basketball Wives", Jackie, wife of Doug Christie. Has been recently causing trouble between the other girls. Saying one has said something about the other when they didn't, and smiling in all of their faces when secretly she's been tearing them apart. Until recently when she got called out on her mess, to make a long story short, she is no longer apart of the group and she's all by herself with her lies and mess. Sooo to all the Phony people, if you want to end up like Jackie and lose all your friends keep being phony! But if you don't....STOP IT it’s really annoying!!!!!!

"Kayaker Comes To The Rescue" an article by Thomas MacMillan,This article was about a man who saved a pregnant woman's life when she went in the river after someone tried to assault her. Ian Christmann went into the river with a kayak when the police told him there was a woman in the river.Police said it was a miracle that the man went in to save her becuase he got her just in time. after doing so the police also caught the man tring to assult the woman. over all i thought it was a very good article. this article tells me that even in a place like Fair Haven which has a bad rep. becuase of drugs and other stuff, people still care and are kind hearted
